According to Adapa, it has already developed and launched numerous solutions based on mono-PE, mono-PP and paper-based materials. In close cooperation with customers and partners, structural adjustments are to be implemented at an early stage in order to create planning security - even if not all delegated acts have yet been finalised.

The D4R products are designed with performance in mind. According to the company, plastic consumption can be reduced by up to 70 per cent. At the same time, transparency and print quality ensure clear product presentation. Areas of application include cheese, meat products, plant-based alternatives, baked goods, frozen products and confectionery.

Paper solutions for dry applications

Adapa's paper-based stand-up pouches are suitable for numerous dry applications in the food and non-food sectors. They can be processed reliably and integrated into existing recycling streams. Different surfaces and printing options enable a differentiated brand presentation.

With PaperTwister(re), the company is also presenting CEPI-certified twist packaging with a paper content of up to 98 per cent. A plant-based coating ensures functional properties. The solution is suitable for confectionery such as chewy sweets, toffees and hard caramels.

Mono material up to the cord

Another example of closed material concepts is the EcoString Loopbag. The bag and cord are made from the same material and can be recycled together. The cord is made from internal production waste and mechanically recycled PCR material. PCR content of up to 80 per cent is possible. The bag is particularly suitable for hygiene and cosmetic products without barrier requirements.

Adapa is also investing in new flexo and gravure printing lines as well as digital printing technologies. The equipment includes special coating applications and full-surface 100 per cent vision control. The company supports variable print runs for seasonal products or test markets with digital printing solutions.

Sustainability as a growth strategy

The corporate strategy combines international presence with local customer proximity. Sustainability is at the centre of development. „For us as a group, it is crucial to think performance and design for recycling together,“ says Stefano Manfredi, Chief Sales Officer at Adapa.

Source: Adapa

Adapa at the Warsaw Pack Expo 2026: Hall E5, Stand 31b

Adapa will be showcasing recyclable PE, PP and paper solutions at Warsaw Pack Expo in preparation for the PPWR.
Adapa zeigt auf der Warsaw Pack Expo recyclingfähige PE-, PP- und Papierlösungen zur Vorbereitung auf die PPWR.
[58781
59868,54,31,32,1487
0":"post-113451","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-green-packaging","8":"tag-adapa","9":"tag-kunststoff-und-verbunde","10":"tag-nachhaltigkeit-und-green-packaging","11":"tag-packmittel-und-packstoffe","12":"tag-papier-pappe-karton","13":"cs-entry","14":"cs-video-wrap
["GET
