Less waste, lower costs and more flexibility in procurement: Herma addresses the current requirements of the logistics and packaging industry with linerless label materials and needs-based labelling solutions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The LogiMAT 2026 presentation will focus on a linerless label material that has been developed for shipping and logistics applications. The so-called InNo-Liner material does not require any silicone backing. This eliminates the residual materials that are inevitably produced with conventional adhesive labels. According to the company, this also improves cost-effectiveness, as material and disposal costs are reduced.<\/p>\n

The material is already being used in practice. As a reference, Herma cites its use at DHL, where waste volumes can be significantly reduced. A customised application technique is required to activate and apply the material.<\/p>

Hazardous goods labelling in small quantities<\/h2>\n

Demand-orientated procurement is also coming to the fore for hazardous goods and hazardous substance labels. Herma has entered into a cooperation with a specialised service provider for this purpose. The aim is to provide labels economically, even in very small batch sizes.<\/p>\n

Herma contributes its expertise in materials and adhesives, while the partner takes care of packaging and logistics. This also applies to applications with increased requirements, such as seawater-resistant labels in accordance with British Standard 5609.<\/p>\n

Configure roll labels online<\/h2>\n

Herma also offers an online configurator for roll labels for users from different industries. Properties such as format, winding, print and print run can be customised and prices are displayed in real time. This creates transparency and planning security, especially for small and medium print runs.<\/p>\n

Automated processes should enable short delivery times, while an integrated print data check reduces the risk of production errors.<\/p>\n
