Against this backdrop, Plastic Ingenuity, one of the largest manufacturers of customised thermoformed packaging in North America, has expanded its business activities to Europe. The Spezi-Pack team has almost 40 years of experience in this field, and the company's former president, Dirk Walters, will continue to manage the business in Germany. \u201eA strong, experienced team is already in place and looking forward to the growth opportunities that our new ownership will bring,\u201c Mr Kuehn added.<\/p>\n<h2>Investing in the future<\/h2>\n<p>In order to meet the requirements of the healthcare sector, Plastic Ingenuity says it is planning significant investment in its German production facility. Planned improvements include the creation of an ISO Class 7 cleanroom and new thermoforming lines to expand capacity for medical and pharmaceutical packaging.
