Regulatory developments such as the PPWR in particular are driving demand for circular materials.

Circular materials meet industrial requirements

The rPET Big Bags are made from recycled PET bottles and, according to Boxon, have a lower carbon footprint than conventional solutions. At the same time, they are designed for use in regulated areas such as the food and chemical industries, where high demands are placed on material properties and safety.

„Companies today need packaging solutions that both fulfil regulatory requirements and support operational efficiency. Our rPET big bags make it possible to switch to recycled materials without compromising on shelf life, handling performance or security of supply, while meeting the strict requirements for food contact.“

Florence Abgrall, Business Unit Manager at Boxon

Focus on improved material properties

In addition to the use of recycled material, Boxon particularly emphasises the functional properties of the big bags. The material is said to offer improved UV resistance, greater abrasion resistance and a more stable shape during transport and handling.

According to the company, the surface also enables a higher print quality. This should improve the legibility of markings and thus support traceability in regulated supply chains.

With the market launch, Boxon is positioning itself in the industrial bulk packaging segment with a focus on the circular economy and performance. The development shows how regulatory requirements and sustainability goals are increasingly being combined with technical requirements in the packaging industry.

Source: Boxon

Boxon bringt rPET Big Bags für Lebensmittelkontakt in EMEA auf den Markt und kombiniert Recyclingmaterial mit hoher industrieller Leistungsfähigkeit.
[58781
59585,60749,38,60681,59301
0":"post-114064","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-green-packaging","8":"tag-boxon","9":"tag-industrieverpackungen","10":"tag-lebensmittel","11":"tag-pet","12":"tag-rpet","13":"cs-entry","14":"cs-video-wrap
["GET
