Frugalpac has unveiled a new machine that significantly increases the production of paper bottles.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The demand for sustainable packaging solutions is growing rapidly, and Frugalpac has responded by introducing a new high-speed machine for paper bottles.<\/p>\n

The Frugal Bottle Assembly Machine 2 (FBAM-2) from Frugalpac can produce up to 14 million paper bottles annually, according to the company, more than five times the capacity of its predecessor. This increase enables drinks manufacturers, bottlers, and packaging partners to scale production beyond the previous limitations of glass. The machine is designed to be installed in filling and packaging facilities worldwide, reducing production costs and CO2 emissions.<\/p>

Economic and ecological advantages<\/h2>\n

According to the text, the FBAM-2 has reduced the production costs of the Frugal Bottle by up to 30 percent, making it price-competitive with conventional glass bottles. Given rising energy prices, the paper bottle offers not only a sustainable but also an economically viable alternative. The use of the machine also enables flexible production, capable of handling both small and large volumes.<\/p>\n

Response to industry pressure<\/h2>\n

The introduction of the FBAM-2 comes at a time when the global beverage industry is under increasing pressure to find more environmentally friendly packaging solutions.<\/p>\n

Since the launch of the Frugal Bottle in 2020, over four million units have been produced. The bottles are available in major retail chains such as Sainsbury\u2019s and Whole Foods. Frugalpac focuses on local production, meaning bottles can be manufactured closer to bottling sites to reduce transport emissions. The FBAM-2 supports this strategy by enabling partners to assemble bottles on-site.<\/p>\n
