With the Jet Press FP790, Fujifilm offers a digital printing press that has established itself as a mainstream solution for flexible packaging. New functions significantly expand its range of applications.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The printing industry faces the challenge of responding to market changes with ever-increasing flexibility and efficiency. Fujifilm has developed the Jet Press FP790, a printing press designed to meet these demands. The machine has already proven itself as a reliable solution for printing flexible packaging in several European countries. It makes it possible to economically process both flexographic print jobs under 9,000 m and rotogravure print jobs up to 22,000 m.<\/p>\n

New features and expanded applications<\/h2>\n

At interpack 2026, Fujifilm will be presenting a range of innovations for the Jet Press FP790. These are intended to significantly expand the machine's application possibilities. Particularly noteworthy is the increased productivity, which allows longer print runs to be handled more efficiently. In addition, the range of substrates has been expanded: alongside PET and BOPP, MDO-PE, BOPE, as well as paper and label materials can now be printed. The maximum substrate thickness is now 130 \u00b5m, further increasing operational flexibility.<\/p>

Integration and further processing<\/h2>\n

Another advantage of the Jet Press FP790 is its seamless integration into existing finishing processes. The machine does not require any special adjustments, which facilitates implementation into existing production lines. According to Tommy Segelberg, Segment Manager at Fujifilm, the Jet Press FP790 offers printing companies the opportunity to efficiently expand their capacity and adapt to changing market conditions.<\/p>\n
