The impending introduction of PPWR compliance obligations presents significant challenges for companies in the packaging industry. Packliance and cyclos-HTP GmbH (CHI) have, in a strategic partnership, developed a digital tool that supports companies in creating the required declarations of conformity.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

This solution enables efficient capture of packaging data and the creation of technical documentation that complies with the PPWR requirements. The official launch of the tool is scheduled for July 2026, giving companies sufficient time to prepare for the new regulations.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The tool already covers important requirements of the PPWR, including the provisions for substances in packaging (Article 5) and reusable packaging (Article 11). Optionally, tests for recyclable packaging (Article 6) and the minimum recycled content in plastic packaging (Article 7) can also be carried out. Future adjustments to the PPWR will be integrated through software updates.<\/p>

The software is designed for use by businesses of all sizes. It offers a multilingual user interface in German and English, facilitating its use beyond Europe. Packliance also offers support with data preparation, integration into existing systems such as ERP, and taking on the role of representative for producers in Germany.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The PPWR sets a clear timetable \u2013 and it's ambitious. Companies should now begin to build up their packaging data in a structured and verifiable manner. Our tool offers a practical, digital solution for this.<\/p>\r\n
