The US packaging group aims to enter the Indian market with this and meet the growing demand for aluminium cans.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to Crown, the planned plant is scheduled to commence operations in the second half of 2027. The facility is designed with two production lines and is expected to produce approximately 2.2 billion beverage cans per year at full capacity. Crown sees India as a rapidly growing market for aluminium cans, both for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.<\/p>\n<p>The new production facility is set to combine modern manufacturing technologies, high operational efficiency, and sustainability standards. This includes a partnership with United Breweries Limited, which belongs to Heineken.
