According to these, visitors to World Cup matches in the USA and Canada may bring one original, sealed, single-use plastic water bottle with a capacity of up to 590 millilitres into the stadium.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/FIFAcom\/status\/2063022567141638254\">a post on X<\/a> The FIFA explained: \u201eAll fans will be permitted to bring in one, soft, plastic, 20 ounces (590ml), factory sealed disposable water bottle into any FIFA World Cup 2026 match in the USA and Canada.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the world football association is committed to <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/fifa-verbannt-mehrwegflaschen-aus-wm-stadien\/\">Ban on reusable bottles<\/a> The FIFA World Cup 2026 Chief Operating Officer, Heimo Schirgi, explained this was due to security and protection requirements.
