At TPV Displays Polska in Gorz\u00f3w Wielkopolski, Poland, 22 Kuka autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) are now ensuring fully automated material transport between the warehouse and assembly lines.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The decision to integrate mobile robots into the production process was driven by the need to increase production stability and transparency. Kuka has installed a fleet of 22 AMRs that are in operation around the clock. These robots are programmed to efficiently move materials between different production stations without human intervention.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The benefits of this technology are diverse. By automating material transport, human labour can concentrate on more complex tasks that require higher qualifications. A central software controls the entire robot fleet, assigns transport orders, monitors operations in real-time, and optimises routes and utilisation. Thanks to inductive charging, the robots work virtually continuously in 24\/7 operation. \u201eThe seamless integration of the new technology into the existing TPV processes was the central challenge. Our solution fully automated intralogistics and made it reliably plannable,\u201c explains \u0141ukasz Sobczak, Head of the Software Development Team at Saicon.<\/p>\r\n<div class=\"mod-text__headline\">\r\n<h2>Greater transparency and future security<\/h2>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"copy\">\r\n<p>The status of the entire robot fleet can be viewed at any time. The data gathered helps to specifically analyse processes and continuously optimise them. At the same time, the system is designed to be flexibly adaptable to future requirements. From Kuka's perspective too, the project demonstrates the potential in the technology: \u201eThe implementation proves that autonomous mobile robots can already increase production stability today \u2013 through reliable processes, greater transparency in material flow, and better control of intralogistics complexity,\u201c says Mateusz Nowakowski, AMR Business Developer at Kuka Polska.
