In addition to comprehensive co-packing expertise, the service provider's range of services also includes its own dispatch service.<\/p>\n<p>Originating from a printing company with high technological standards, the company increasingly focussed on the printing sector in the mid-1980s. <strong>Manual labour<\/strong>, which has always played an important role in the packaging of selected products. The premises quickly became too small in view of the rapidly growing order volume, which is why the company moved to a new multifunctional hall in Idstein in 1995. Since then, over 4,000 m\u00b2 of storage space has been available for the wide range of tasks. To this day, the service portfolio continues to expand.<\/p>\n<p>Packaging is <strong>safe<\/strong> and <strong>appropriate<\/strong> still<strong> manually<\/strong> or <strong>mechanised<\/strong>. In the large high-bay warehouse with space for up to 4,000 Euro pallets, for example, all accessories for promotional campaigns, gift packs or other advertising packages and mailings are temporarily stored so that they can then be picked and packaged on time. With fluctuating order volumes, it is difficult to keep your own <strong>Optimise staff utilisation<\/strong>. It then makes sense to have a partner for all packaging issues. Particularly in the case of strong seasonal fluctuations, costs for unused storage space can also be saved by outsourcing merchandise management. (Image: Naatz)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Fulfilment service<\/h2>\n<p>The offering in this area covers all activities in the areas of incoming goods, order entry, customer service, picking, packing, despatch, invoicing, payment transactions and reporting. The various work steps can be organised as <strong>Building blocks<\/strong> combined or utilised separately. For example, Naatz Integrated Services has taken over the warehousing and dispatch of around 1,500 specialist titles for a leading specialist publisher of labour law and social law. The tasks include, for example, the storage of books and laws, mass mailings of supplementary deliveries, the printing of orders generated by the specialist publisher, the picking and dispatch of orders and the processing of customer returns and returns. The range of services also includes the assembly of floor displays on CHEP pallets and their despatch. Sachets and stand-up pouches are currently placed in sales displays for contract manufacturers in the flexible packaging sector. The products are counted by the employees, packed in the appropriate cardboard packaging according to the customer's specifications and stacked on pallets. It is essential that all quality-related work processes are carried out according to fixed rules. For this reason, Naatz also introduced the <strong>Quality management system<\/strong> introduced in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.<\/p>\n<p>However, products of a completely different kind are also packaged. In the company's long history, for example, Christmas wooden sledges and giant plush bunnies for PoS displays have been packaged for well-known confectionery manufacturers. Children's chairs have also been packaged for well-known Norwegian children's furniture manufacturers in a number of projects. The realisation of the often time-limited campaigns of individual manufacturers is a particular strength of the service provider, which can quickly adapt to the customer's requirements.<\/p>\n<h2>Shipping service inside<\/h2>\n<p>Having grown with the orders of the past and with employees from the very beginning at its side, the interrelationships and modes of operation as a service company in the <strong>Shipping service<\/strong> know-how. For example, address data from Excel, Access or other databases is imported when sending advertising material, and the addresses are checked and duplicates matched using special software. On request <strong>to<\/strong> the <strong>Food or Medicinal Products Act<\/strong> <strong>packed<\/strong>. Chocolate advent calendars for DHL\/Deutsche Post AG were packaged on behalf of a corrugated cardboard manufacturer. Naturally, all requirements for the packaging of foodstuffs, such as refrigeration and hygiene regulations, had to be met.<\/p>\n<h2>The right bearing<\/h2>\n<p>Naatz produces valuable sets for Deutsche Post AG itself using a collating machine. For this purpose, a special value warehouse was set up that fulfils all security requirements for valuable items, high-value products and important documents. This is only possible thanks to the company's own multifunctional hall. Overall, the premises are designed in such a way that space can be created at any time by erecting partition walls in accordance with the requirements of the respective customer, e.g. value warehouse, bonded warehouse or warehouse for foodstuffs.<\/p>\n<p>A new challenge for employees is the task of archiving files. The trend was recognised at an early stage and the appropriate measures were taken. The <strong>Valuables warehouse<\/strong> ensures that files and important documents from large and small companies, some private individuals and law firms are stored securely. Access is only permitted to authorised persons. The usual strict criteria apply. Customers\u201e files are scanned using the specially developed \u201cNIS Scan\" app and then packed into the file box provided, labelled and collected and stored by a courier, carrier or parcel service.
