The handling system is particularly suitable for collaborative tasks, but can also be easily programmed for fully automated industrial applications. The reach is 1.2 metres.

At Automatica 2018 in Munich, the company with its European headquarters in Eschborn showcased the further development of the Motoman HC10DT. This variant can be found in the „Direct Teach“ method. Users can perform desired movements directly by moving the robot arm accordingly. Three buttons on the robot arm offer various programming options. In many cases, it will no longer be necessary to use the „Smart Pendant“ mobile programming device.

Those who prefer to programme the Motoman HC10 conventionally for industrial applications can also do this.
