The bags for organic household waste have been certified as fully compostable by the DIN-Certco organisation in accordance with the European standard EN13432, writes the company.

The new product is the first of its kind in the world. Bin liners with carrying handle, which consist of more than half renewable raw materials, RKW also notes. The material is largely made up of Strength and Polylactic acid and other biodegradable components. The Star bottom prevent liquid from seeping through.

Compared to the paper bags mostly used for organic waste, the RKW bag produced in Vietnam is characterised by its Tear resistance out. In addition, the carrying handles can be knotted, which simplifies disposal.

RKW from Frankenthal launches biodegradable bin liners with a star bottom.
