Follmann from Minden will be exhibiting its range of printing inks, coatings and adhesives specially developed for finishing packaging for the third time in a row at FachPack 2018. The new, water-based coatings for digital print media will be on show for the first time.<\/p>\n

The new water-based coatings<\/strong> enable the preparatory coating of numerous substrates such as films, paper, textiles, wallpaper or canvas for digital printing. They are suitable for various ink and colour systems.<\/p>\n

The Colour receiving layers<\/strong> dry quickly and guarantee a high level of Colour brilliance<\/strong>. Packaging or labels can be processed quickly. UV-stable, scratch-resistant and flame-retardant coatings are also available if required.<\/p>

Sustainable printing ink systems for flexo and gravure printing<\/h2>\n

With its water-based printing ink systems, the company has Follmann<\/strong> a product that takes account of the growing awareness of sustainable solutions. The water-based printing inks are optimised for the Flexo and gravure printing of pre-treated plastic films<\/strong> made from materials such as PE, PP, PET, PA or OPP.<\/p>\n

The system is designed as One-component solution<\/strong> designed. The colour can be applied directly. Because of the Solvent-free<\/strong> no thermal exhaust air purification needs to be installed.<\/p>\n

At FachPack, Follmann will also be showcasing its Dispersion and hot-melt adhesives<\/strong>. They do not require labelling and fulfil the requirements of the Blue Angel. They are also free from polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Among other things, they are suitable for End-of-line packaging<\/strong>, crest erection, longitudinal seam bonding and sheet lamination.<\/p>\n
