Using the example of its successful HEAVY and JAZZ case series, manufacturer W.AG from Geisa will be showcasing the customer and product-specific customisation of its designer cases using in-mould labelling at this year's FachPack. In this innovative multicolour printing process, the outer visible surfaces of the case housings are given a brilliant, colour-intensive and scratch-resistant print directly in the injection moulding machine. Interested parties can see the excellent quality of the photorealistic IML prints for themselves on site.<\/p>\n

The successful JAZZ and HEAVY case series are used to demonstrate the high-quality results that can be achieved with the IML process. While the plastic cases in the JAZZ series are characterised by Highly functional all-rounder<\/strong> the robust models in the HEAVY series are designed for the Use in the heavy goods and logistics sector<\/strong>r designed.<\/p>\n

The techno design of the JAZZ, which is available in 15 sizes, is primarily orientated towards the requirements of the manufacturers of High-tech products<\/strong> - in medical, laboratory and measurement technology, for example. With the double-walled HEAVY, on the other hand, which is manufactured in a sandwich construction, everything is focussed on Maximum stability<\/strong> customised. Currently available in 13 sizes, this case is designed for the safe transport and handling of large, heavy products such as power tools or control units.<\/p>

Individualisation creates added value<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In-mould labelling (IML) is playing an increasingly important role in the product-, sector- and customer-specific individualisation of W.AG's design cases. The company can now customise almost all design case series in its large portfolio with the Optical enhancement of photo printing processes<\/strong>. Among other things, this is made possible by regular investments in modern injection moulding systems that have special handling systems with which in-mould labelling can be integrated into the process.<\/p>\n

The company can now finish the entire JAZZ series using the innovative deco process. Only the largest version of the HEAVY (665 x 562 x 250 mm) is not yet IML-capable. In addition, the plastic cases in most of W.AG's other product series can now also be printed with in-mould labelling - right up to the latest designer case model TWIST, which will also be on display at FachPack.<\/p>\n
