OKI has presented two new professional printing solutions for label printing. The OKI Pro1040 and OKI Pro1050 models will be available on the German market from January 2019 as cost-effective on-demand solutions for in-house label production.<\/p>\n

With these two new printers, OKI is continuing its efforts to expand its portfolio to emerging industries such as the Packaging industry<\/strong> to align. According to the company, the new printers are characterised by the Easy handling<\/strong> out. Users can set up and realise small jobs themselves in just a few minutes.<\/p>\n

The OKI Pro1040<\/strong> prints four-colour in CMYK<\/strong>, whereas the OKI Pro1050<\/strong> also comes with the spot colour white (CMYK+W). This means that it prints an opaque white background under the colour motif. This makes the print results look brighter. Both printers are suitable for producing creative designs on transparent, dark or coloured label media. A wide variety of materials can be processed, regardless of whether textured paper or synthetic materials<\/strong> with white, clear, opaque or coloured coating.<\/p>

Applications for the Label printer<\/strong> OKI's product portfolio includes the industrial labelling of chemicals and the creation of labels for goods tracking, outdoor use, cold storage or packaging, beverages or household goods. Waterproof, UV-resistant labels can also be created.<\/p>\n

As maximum Print speed<\/strong> OKI specifies 152.4 millimetres per second for both models. The following can be processed Roll paper\u00a0<\/strong>with a width between 25.4 and 130 millimetres including the backing. Label lengths from 12.7 to 1320.8 millimetres are possible. The permissible media thickness is between 0.076 and 0.250 millimetres.<\/p>
