The Kevelaer-based company Walther Faltsysteme has been awarded the \u201eInnovative through Research\u201c seal of approval by the Stifterverband f\u00fcr die deutsche Wissenschaft for its development work. The seal is awarded every two years to companies that demonstrably advance the field of research and development.<\/p>\n

As an example of innovative new developments, the medium-sized manufacturer of customised Reusable transport solutions<\/strong> the Biofolding box<\/strong>. It is produced from 93 per cent renewable raw materials. The corresponding Pilot project<\/strong> for the \u201eGreenline Bio\u201c container Walther folding systems<\/strong> in the spring of this year. The box will be available with external dimensions of 600 x 400 x 220 millimetres.<\/p>\n

Federal Ministry surveys research activities in companies<\/h2>\n

Dominik Lemken, authorised signatory and Head of Development at Walther Faltsysteme, sees the award as confirmation of the company's internal Development work<\/strong>. \u201eIn addition to close contact with the universities in our region, our company is also open to young researchers for their final theses.\u201c<\/p>

The Donors' Association for the Promotion of Sciences and Humanities in Germany<\/strong> is one of the largest science funding organisations in Germany. The \u201eInnovative through research\u201c seal of approval is awarded by the association on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research<\/strong> (BMBF).
