Ecocool is now certified according to ISO 9001:20015. In October 2015, the company from Bremerhaven successfully passed the initial certification for this quality management system. The \u201edevelopment, production and sale of refrigerated packaging and packaging components for the logistics of temperature-sensitive goods\u201c were certified.<\/p>\n

\u201eWith our packaging solutions for the Food and pharmaceutical industry<\/strong> we operate in areas that are heavily regulated by law. In these segments, ensuring product quality and hygiene during shipping plays a key role,\u201c explains Dr Florian Siedenburg, Managing Director of Ecocool GmbH<\/strong>, the importance of certification for the company.<\/p>\n

In addition to this measure, Ecocool is also committed to the further development of quality management. This year, the company has already been actively involved in the development of the new DIN Spec 91360<\/strong> for the dispatch of foodstuffs. This involved defining the requirements for packaging materials, passive cooling systems and validating the system.<\/p>

Refrigerated packaging and solutions for temperature-sensitive goods<\/h2>\n

Ecocool was founded in 1999 by graduate economist Heinrich Siedenburg and graduate engineer Ulf C. Abbes. Since 2015, the company has been managed by Dr Florian Siedenburg. The company specialises in Refrigerated packaging<\/strong> and packaging components for Temperature-sensitive goods<\/strong>. Ecocool offers various refrigerated packaging for the food industry. One focus is on refrigerated packaging for online food delivery.<\/p>\n

Another mainstay is the production of Thermal bonnets<\/strong>, especially for air freight shipments in pharmaceutical logistics or as anti-freeze packaging for overland transport. In addition, Ecocool has developed Pharmaceutical logistics<\/strong> prequalified, GDP-compliant boxes for shipping high-quality pharmaceutical refrigerated goods in the temperature range of two to eight degrees Celsius.<\/p>
