Weiss GmbH is exhibiting a new conveyor system with magnetic levitation technology at Motek. It is designed for the flexible transport of workpiece carriers.<\/p>\n

The special technical feature of the Conveyor systems<\/strong> are the direct drives. Conventional mechanical Drive elements<\/strong> are no longer required. The advantage of this type of design is that the speed, transport direction and positioning of each individual Pallet<\/strong> can be programmed independently of each other. Workpiece carrier<\/strong> and Process axis<\/strong> can be synchronised. The conveyor system is designed to simplify assembly tasks for small and medium-sized series. The manufacturer promises short set-up times for quick product changes.<\/p>\n

Another topic at the Weiss stand will be \u201eAugmented Reality<\/strong>\u201c (AR). Visitors will have the opportunity to virtually test some of the Weiss products using AR glasses.<\/p>
