Once again, the exhibition space for what is claimed to be the second largest plastics processing trade fair has been enlarged. The topic of \u201eIndustry 4.0\u201c will also play a major role in the border triangle on Lake Constance.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Plastics technology<\/strong>- The plastics and plastics processing industry is facing exciting challenges. This is reflected in the interest in and topics of the <strong>25th Fakuma<\/strong> which will be held from Tuesday to Saturday, 17 to 21 October, in <strong>Friedrichshafen<\/strong> opens its doors. New hybrid, composite and layered materials as well as new processes and technologies are creating a highly dynamic market. This development is being driven by the automotive industry, among others, which is constantly demanding new and more efficient materials and processes.<\/p>\n<p>According to its own information, the <strong>Trade fair<\/strong> in the border triangle on Lake Constance has established itself as the second most important industry event of its kind in the world. This is supported by the fact that 35 per cent of the more than 1,700 exhibitors are coming to Friedrichshafen from abroad. Companies from a total of 35 nations will be presenting their products and innovations. Due to the further increase in the number of exhibitors, exhibition areas have now even been created in the foyers of the East and West Entrance areas of the exhibition centre. <strong>Exhibition centre<\/strong> Friedrichshafen. From product development, moulds and production facilities to the industrial production of components and assemblies, Fakuma comprehensively presents the world of plastics and, above all, their economical processing.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the company presentations, this year's exhibitor forum once again offers the opportunity to look beyond the horizon. In short presentations, experts will give an insight into new processes, technologies, innovations and solutions and will then be available for questions and discussions.
