The experienced packaging developers work according to the Universal design conceptThis means that products should be designed with the characteristics and needs of the user in mind, so that they can be used by as many people as possible without further adaptation or specialisation. Products with a universal design such as the PouchBooster® with weld-in spout are characterised by a sensible and intelligent design, are intuitive to use and error-tolerant.

In order to meet customers' high expectations of ergonomic packaging design, the plastics specialists from Lohne are constantly optimising the development and production of shrink-wrapped spouts. Together with Schülke + Mayr GmbH from Norderstedt, Pöppelmann developed FAMAC® an uncomplicated one, Hygienic packaging concept. The solution prevents air from entering the packaging during product removal or residue from forming on the lid, as is often the case with existing solutions. „We wanted a simple and safe dispensing system with good residual emptying, which is suitable for sterilisation and can be operated with one hand without contaminating the product,“ explains Lars Teutenberg from Schülke. The experts from Pöppelmann FAMAC® The company then designed a weld-in spout that is closed by a valve and only opens when pressure is applied to the actuating element.
