The modular \u201eSIG Plant 360 Controller\u201c is aimed at food and beverage manufacturers who want to optimise their processes.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Modular software solution<\/strong> serves to optimise the growing amount of data sources and systems from different providers that are used in modern <strong>bottling plants<\/strong> are available. The open software is compatible with numerous plants and systems. Food and beverage manufacturers are therefore still free to choose their technology partners.<\/p>\n<p>With the use of \u201e<strong>SIG Plant 360 Controller<\/strong>\u201c gives users a complete overview of their entire production, from the receipt of raw materials right through to stock levels. The connector module ensures complete connectivity in a manufacturer's production plant. Communication between different machines is realised via the <strong>OPC UA interface<\/strong> (OPC Unified Architecture) is guaranteed.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eIt is important that the integration of the connector works easily and quickly, as our customers\u201c production plants and filling lines run around the clock.\"<br \/>\nStefan Mergel, Senior Product Manager Equipment at SIG<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>Toolbox with frequently required tools and modules<\/h2>\n<p>Condition monitoring is ensured via the Performer module, which is known as the \u201e<strong>Plant Monitoring System<\/strong>\u201c (PMS) organises the exchange of information between the connected components. This creates a transparent database that monitors the entire system in real time and analyses the data collected in order to find errors in the process, gain intelligent insights and present them in visual dashboards. All operating levels communicate via it, from the <strong>Material requirements planning<\/strong> in the ERP system through to the individual machines.
