The main reason for this is the slowing economy in the automotive sector, particularly in the Chinese market. In future, Kautex wants to organise sales along the lines of the packaging and automotive sectors. The head office is in Bonn. A further 170 employees work in regional branches in the USA, Russia, China, Italy, India and Mexico. The company estimates its global annual turnover for 2017 at more than 140 million euros. The majority shareholder of Kautex only changed at the beginning of 2018. The Austrian industrial holding company <strong>Plastech<\/strong> Beteiligungs GmbH took over 74.9 per cent of the company shares.
