D\u00fcrr has added drying and curing technologies as well as machines for coating battery electrodes to its product range. The machinery and plant manufacturer from Bietigheim-Bissingen will be exhibiting for the first time at ICE Europe 2019 in Munich from 12 to 14 March 2019 together with the other Group brands LTB and Megtec.<\/p>\n

D\u00fcrr's environmental technology division Environmental technology division \u201eClean Technology Systems<\/strong>\u201c was realised with the acquisition of Megtec<\/strong> extended. This concerns, for example Drying technologies<\/strong> for roll-to-roll processes in the coating and printing industry. Among other things, the hot-air floatation dryer for coating applications is part of this portfolio and will be on display at ICE Europe.<\/p>\n

It also presents D\u00fcrr<\/strong> Megtec is able to utilise its expertise in the development and manufacture of special Coating systems<\/strong> for lithium-ion battery electrodes. These systems are suitable for the mass production of current electrodes as well as for the development of new materials.<\/p>

Processes and systems can be adapted to all conditions<\/h2>\n

The ICE will also feature the Exhaust air purification system<\/strong> \u201eEcopure RTO\u201c on display. The abbreviation RTO stands for \u201eRegenerative Thermal Oxidation\u201c. The system achieves a degree of purification of more than 99.8 per cent. Combined with a D\u00fcrrHeat recovery<\/strong> the Ecopure RTO also allows previously unused energy to be fed back into the process as heat, cold or electricity.<\/p>\n

The D\u00fcrr, Megtec and LTB range includes various processes that can be customised for every printing, coating and finishing process. The different System concepts<\/strong> and construction methods can be integrated into complex applications and difficult spaces. The programme includes systems in compact design, which are pre-assembled, tested and delivered as a complete unit, as well as systems in individual parts.<\/p>\n
