One example of this is the TE ring fixed to the Type A eye dropper bottle in accordance with new FDA regulations. Gerresheimer has already started production at sites in Poland, India and the USA.

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has recently stipulated that the TE ring for tamper evidence firm must be connected to the bottle. Based on experience with the type B dropper bottle, which already has a TE ring fixed to the bottle, this product change could be made without major effort. Only the design was changed slightly. The dimensions, properties and material remained unchanged. The bottle and the dropper are made of LDPE, the cap of HDPE.

New type A fastener.

Gerresheimer produces type A dropper bottles under cleanroom conditions in sizes from two to 360 millilitres.
