For product labelling, Uhlmann relies on the integration of a G320i thermal inkjet OEM board from Domino within its Serialisation Platform, which labels folding boxes in motion at a maximum speed of 60 metres per minute with the required information for traceability purposes.<\/p>\n

The Uhlmann Serialisation Platform (USP) is a compact stand-alone unit with fully automatic format setting. The modular platform with its printing, inspection, tamper-evident labelling, weighing and top labelling components is ideally suited to meeting current and future serialisation requirements.<\/p>\n

Product labelling is an essential component<\/h2>\n

A label is applied in accordance with the pharmaceutical serialisation requirements. 2D data matrix code including plain text<\/strong> at a maximum output of 300 folding cartons per minute. The Domino BK652 ink used dries in less than half a second and is therefore ideal for implementing serialisation requirements. It also offers high contrast and lightfastness - factors that are essential for authenticating packaging at the point of issue.<\/p>\n

The G3<\/strong>20i-Thermo-Inkjet OEM board is integrated in the Audit Trail\/21CFR Part 11 of the Uhlmann Serialisation Platform, and the complete user administration is implemented using the Uhlmann software. Operation of the G3<\/strong>20i thermal inkjet printing system is carried out via the HMI of the USP module.<\/p>\n

Specially customised software also provides a dynamic and flexible layout design. This enables different code structures and a flexible arrangement of text fields with just one layout.<\/p>\n

The G3<\/strong>20i printing system is able to print all global standard characters directly in the Arial Unicode font<\/strong> for example, Korean characters (LOT Korean\uc81c\uc870\ubc88\ud638). These do not have to be inserted as graphics, but can be printed directly as characters.<\/p>\n
