Allvac will be demonstrating this at IFFA 2019. The film manufacturer from the Allg\u00e4u region has intensified its efforts to produce films from environmentally friendly materials and develop recyclable films.<\/p>\n<p>A favourable effect on the <strong>Sustainability<\/strong> of the products, the new <strong>Eleven-layer coextruder system<\/strong>. This allows even thinner films to be produced with the usual product quality, according to the company's Managing Director <strong>Hans Bresele<\/strong> in a press release.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, ecological alternatives to <strong>Barrier films made of polyamide and polyethylene<\/strong>, which are obtained from crude oil. The \u201esubstitute raw materials\u201c used are <strong>Rapeseed oil<\/strong> or <strong>Sugar cane<\/strong> in question. The company also refers to its <strong>Energy management according to ISO 50001<\/strong>. This includes monthly energy monitoring. At Allvac, energy resources are saved by using energy from renewable sources to heat the rooms. <strong>Heat recovery<\/strong> and conventional light bulbs are replaced by LED light sources.<\/p>\n<p>According to the company, it also practices the principle of sustainability towards its employees and customers. The <strong>Film manufacturer<\/strong> has joined the <strong>Code of Conduct<\/strong> of the German Plastics Processing Industry Association (GKV).
