The Worms-based company reports that the business model designed for B2B sales, which involves the fully digitalised and automated production of standard folding boxes, has been well received.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PackEx<\/strong> is a subsidiary of the <strong>August Faller<\/strong> GmbH &amp; Co. KG. It specialises in the development of customised <strong>Folding boxes<\/strong> in small editions of <strong>1 to 5,000 pieces<\/strong> to be produced. Various technological innovations are utilised in the process: a newly developed laser process, an automated <strong>Production workflow<\/strong> and modern offset and digital printing processes in seven-colour mode. According to PackEx, it currently employs 20 people.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eAfter successfully completing our pilot phase, we can say that our business model is proving its worth.\u201c<br \/>\nMarco Dembowski, Head of Business Development &amp; Corporate Communications at PackEx<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>PackEx relies above all on its <strong>Web-to-Pack concept<\/strong>. Thanks to automation and standardisation processes, this enables cost-effective <strong>Individualised mass production<\/strong>. In the virtual warehouse in the <strong>PackEx B2B app<\/strong> users can save their products and manage, duplicate or order them with a single click. Physical delivery takes place within 72 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike the parent company, which specialises in <strong>Pharmaceutical packaging<\/strong> PackEx has specialised in the <strong>Open to all sectors<\/strong> designed. This has been successful, according to the company.
