The responsible IK consultant<strong> Dr Fang Luan<\/strong> considers the current version to be a \u201epractical revision\u201c and continues: \u201eFor us, the initiative to revise the standard is a logical consequence of the wide range of activities in favour of a higher standardisation level. <strong>Use of recyclate<\/strong> in <strong>Plastic packaging<\/strong>.\"<\/p>\n<h2>Recyclate content is now labelled<\/h2>\n<p>The standard now regulates how plastics with the specification of the percentage by mass of the <strong>Recyclate<\/strong> be labelled. In addition, the labelling for <strong>Plastic composites<\/strong> prescribed. Another new feature is the labelling for products made of a plastic that is not listed in the standard, such as PET, HDPE, PVC, LDPE, PP and PS. The specifications contained therein are not legally binding as long as they have not been cited in laws or laid down in contracts.
