This success is not only due to the packaging machines for pharmaceuticals that Uhlmann Pac-Systeme GmbH &amp; Co. KG has been manufacturing in Laupheim for 70 years.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eThese days, pharmaceutical companies need <strong>Integrated solutions<\/strong>. The machine is the basis for this. KG)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2><b>Further increase in sales<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>In the past financial year, the Uhlmann Group once again increased its <strong>Increase sales<\/strong>, from EUR 411 million to EUR 426 million (+3.6 per cent). This is an expansion in order to be able to cope well with future growth and to resolve the existing bottlenecks in the procurement market.<\/p>\n<p>By the end of the year, a total of <strong>80 new employees<\/strong> produce parts for the packaging lines in Laupheim.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><div id=\"packa-147759927\" class=\"packa-inhalt\"><!--noptimize--><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-2686439340972671\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block;text-align:center\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-2686439340972671\" data-ad-slot=\"6171251825\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><!--\/noptimize--><\/div>\n<p>Since the beginning of the year, a 75 metre long, four-storey office complex has been under construction there with <strong>around 400 modern workplaces<\/strong>. Uhlmann is investing 15 million euros in the new building, which is scheduled for completion in spring 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The extra space is needed: Instead of stainless steel and safety glass, more and more solutions from Uhlmann are made of <strong>\u201eBits and Bytes\u201c<\/strong> - and these are produced at the desk and not on the factory floor.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Digital on the rise<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Various projects are already underway at Uhlmann to further optimise the packaging of pharmaceuticals. <strong>automate and digitalise<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For example, Uhlmann customers will soon no longer need a machine to train new employees. One <strong>Virtual reality glasses<\/strong> transports participants to a virtual factory floor where they can practise every move on a virtual Uhlmann machine - just like in a computer game.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eThe customer's production continues undisturbed until then.
