{"id":24805,"date":"2019-07-18T11:00:20","date_gmt":"2019-07-18T09:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?p=24805"},"modified":"2019-07-18T11:18:36","modified_gmt":"2019-07-18T09:18:36","slug":"sales-record-at-mesutronic-geraetebau","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/en\/absatzrekord-bei-mesutronic-geraetebau\/","title":{"rendered":"New INDUS subsidiary Mesutronic remains on the road to success"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Business with devices for metal and foreign object detection is going well: Mesutronic Ger\u00e4tebau GmbH, based in Kirchberg im Wald (Regen district), can once again report record sales: Turnover increased by 9.8 per cent to 24.7 million in 2018 (2017: 22.5 million euros).<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the <strong>organic growth from our own resources<\/strong> remains on the agenda even after the sale of 89.9 per cent of the shares to SDAX-listed INDUS Holding AG (Bergisch Gladbach).<\/p>\n<h2>Fortunate founding circumstances<\/h2>\n<p>The way to the <strong>global technology leader in the field of metal and foreign object detection for industrial applications<\/strong> was not yet mapped out when Mesutronic was launched. The <strong>Determination throughout the team<\/strong> has brought the company forward.\u201c<br \/>\n<strong>Karl-Heinz D\u00fcrrmeier<\/strong>, Managing Partner of Mesutronic<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>Global dynamics for ready-to-eat detection<\/h2>\n<p>The Mesutronic team is <strong>40 service and sales partners worldwide<\/strong> represented. The technical achievements from the Bavarian Forest are delivered to over 50 countries.<\/p>\n<p>The wholly owned French subsidiary Mesutronic France SAS (Colmar), which was founded in January 2017, is developing according to plan. The detection specialists from Kirchberg are benefiting from the global dynamic that more and more people <strong>Convenience food<\/strong> which can be easily cooked within minutes.<\/p>\n<p>From the Bavarian Forest come the corresponding <strong>Monitoring devices for so-called ready-to-eat products<\/strong>. The X-ray inspection system launched on the market in 2015 <strong>\u201eeasySCOPE\u201c<\/strong> is running very successfully, according to D\u00fcrrmeier.<\/p>\n<h2>Relying on successful SME virtue<\/h2>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eEven after the takeover, we will continue to focus on our typical <strong>middle-class virtues<\/strong> but continue to grow rapidly internationally.\u201c<br \/>\n<strong>Karl-Heinz D\u00fcrrmeier<\/strong>, Managing Partner of Mesutronic<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>D\u00fcrrmeier believes that there is particular growth potential in the <strong>Asian and US markets<\/strong> out. According to D\u00fcrrmeier, just under a third of metal detection devices and foreign object inspection systems are produced for the German market, while two thirds are exported directly.<\/p>\n<p>With a further <strong>Growth spurt in the plastics sector<\/strong> to be expected. According to D\u00fcrrmeier, the newly developed Plastron 05 K metal separator will close a gap in the product range. The device is used to protect injection moulding machines and extruders from damage caused by metal parts.<\/p>\n<h2>Over 40,000 detection devices delivered<\/h2>\n<p>Mesutronic has been producing at its current location in the Kirchberg industrial estate since 2005, initially on 2,500 square metres of production space and 800 square metres of office space. In 2015, the capacities were increased to <strong>6,000 square metres of production space, 1,800 square metres of office space and 1,300 square metres of storage space<\/strong> extended.<\/p>\n<p>According to D\u00fcrrmeier, in the last 27 years <strong>Over 40,000 inspection devices<\/strong> (metal detectors, metal separators and X-ray machines have been installed. These metal and non-metal detection systems are used in the food, healthcare, plastics, textile, wood and mining industries for consumer and machine protection.<\/p>\n<h2>Specialists from the region<\/h2>\n<blockquote><p>\"<strong>Determined and loyal employees<\/strong> are an important success factor.\u201c<br \/>\n<strong>Karl-Heinz D\u00fcrrmeier<\/strong>, Managing Partner of Mesutronic<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>For D\u00fcrrmeier, the successful development of a company is closely linked to the <strong>Specialists from the region<\/strong> associated with this. With the steady growth, the need for qualified specialists has also increased. Here, the inspection equipment manufacturer relies on the <strong>In-house training<\/strong> and is currently training 20 young employees in Kirchberg.
