As part of an inauguration ceremony, Hans B\u00fchler, Managing Partner of the Optima Group, handed over the new building to Heiko Funk, Managing Director of OPTIMA materials management GmbH, and the employees of the Materials Management and Global Parts Service divisions.<\/p>\n<p>In their speeches, Hans B\u00fchler and Heiko Funk thanked everyone who had contributed to the successful <strong>Completion in just ten months<\/strong> They also emphasised the impressive performance during the parade and the go-live. Around <strong>20 million euros<\/strong> Optima invested in the project in the Solpark industrial estate in Schw\u00e4bisch Hall.<\/p>\n<p>In record time, everyone involved at Optima and the commissioned partners completed one of the largest projects in Optima's history - the <strong>new logistics centre<\/strong>. In the end, we decided in favour of this location, as Solpark offers the best opportunities for expansion and we wanted to avoid two large locations.\u201c<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hans B\u00fchler<\/strong>Managing Partner of the Optima Group<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The current development at Optima Pharma has proven that this is the right way to go - the new assembly hall has already been completed. <strong>Expansion option<\/strong> has been utilised. Hans B\u00fchler also outlined the history of Optima Materials Management. He launched the high-bay warehouse in Steinbeisweg in 1983, and the warehouse was modernised in the 1990s\/2000s. At some point, however, it became clear that future plans could not be realised with the existing warehouse.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Architect Rolf Blank was on site as a representative of the planning and execution team. He outlined the most important facts about the <strong>Logistics centre<\/strong>. It has a floor area of around 6,000 square metres plus an office wing for 150 employees and is ten metres high. The hall is heated and cooled with concrete core activation - similar to underfloor heating. This means that <strong>Pleasant temperatures all year round<\/strong> in the building.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eIt was important to let daylight in, which is why large windows were installed in the fa\u00e7ade and skylights provide plenty of light.\u201c<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rolf Blank,<\/strong> Architect<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Hans B\u00fchler then thanked everyone involved in the project - including the general contractor and Optima Facility Management - for this fantastic achievement. He also emphasised the <strong>Employee performance<\/strong> during the parade and the go-live. He emphasised that the involvement of all employees in the project had been particularly important. For example, in the run-up to the project, a <strong>Survey<\/strong> which <strong>Criteria for employees<\/strong> and what needs to be paid particular attention to in the new building. Andreas Kettemann's project team professionally managed the move and the go-live, among other things.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, there were many other experts at Optima who <strong>Reorganisation of materials management<\/strong> in the background with her <strong>Expertise<\/strong> especially the Optima IT department. Heiko Funk expressed his thanks and appreciation to all those who contributed to this achievement.<\/p>\n<p>Heiko Funk cited the right choice of partners as another success factor. In this context, he particularly thanked the <strong>Team of architects<\/strong> around Rolf Blank. Heiko Funk characterised the architect with the words \u201ethere's no such thing as impossible\u201c and thanked him for the good cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>Just as harmonious is the <strong>Cooperation with the general contractor<\/strong>r and all other companies involved as well as the Optima <strong>Facility Management<\/strong> and the <strong>municipal authorities<\/strong> been.<\/p>\n<h2>Good luck with the construction, some challenges<\/h2>\n<p>Heiko Funk also referred to the challenges during construction. The <strong>Difficult surfaces<\/strong> made it necessary to install so-called vibro-tamping columns up to 7.50 metres long in the ground for the foundations. The former military site also had to be demilitarised.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eHowever, we identified an unexploded bomb with the very first excavator shovel.\u201c<\/p>\n<p><strong>Heiko Funk<\/strong>, Managing Director of OPTIMA materials management GmbH<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This meant that further construction work had to be <strong>Supervision of the explosive ordnance disposal service<\/strong> be carried out.
