The Schur Flexibles Group, Wiener Neudorf (Austria), will be showcasing four innovations at FachPack 2019: the recyclable thermoforming film VACUflex(re) EX-T for meat and sausage products, cheese or fish, the FoodTray, a new tray concept mainly made of fibre for packaging fresh food, the mono-PE EcoString bag for cosmetics and hygiene products and the aluminium-free tubular bag CoffeeGuard(re) for coffee and dry products.<\/p>\n

Schur Flexibles already has a broad portfolio of recyclable materials<\/strong> developed. A particularly innovative, high-performance product from this range is the VACUflex(re) EX-T<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

These Flexible thermoforming sheet with high barrier <\/strong>is polyolefin-based and, in combination with FlexGuard(re), for example, offers a recyclable packaging solution. The film in thicknesses between 80 and 300 \u00b5m<\/strong> also impresses with its outstanding process capability on FFS systems and maximum product safety thanks to EVOH barrier<\/strong>.<\/p>

Also new is the FoodTray<\/strong>. It was developed in successful co-operation between the system partners ROBA (patent holder), GEA and Schur Flexibles. The innovative tray concept combines Corrugated board and film<\/strong> into a haptically and visually consumer-friendly system packaging for fresh food. Compared to solid board, this Greater stability with less material used<\/strong> and is also easily recyclable.<\/p>\n

As a trade fair highlight, the Schur Flexibles Group is bringing the FoodTray machine to its stand and presenting live<\/strong>, how the innovative packaging is produced.<\/p>\n

The FoodTrays are available on the entire surface printable<\/strong>This is a particular advantage for food and environmental labelling or appealing serving suggestions. The corrugated board can be printed in up to six colours, and the top film in up to eleven colours including varnish finishing. Different printing technologies allow differentiated product descriptions even for small batch sizes. The Packing heights <\/strong>range from 20 to 60 millimetres, in the skin version up to 20 millimetres, and special sizes are also possible.<\/p>\n
