According to DUH, over 20,000 consumers voted for the \u201eGolden Vulture\u201c. The prize for the \u201emost nonsensical\u201c packaging of the year went to Nestl\u00e9 Deutschland AG.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, the DUH had called on consumers to name what they considered to be <strong>\u201emost pointless\u201c plastic packaging<\/strong> to nominate. In the final round, there were six proposals to choose from. Of the nominated plastic packaging, the mineral water imported from France and packaged several times in disposable plastic was chosen as the winner. <strong>Vittel named \u201emost nonsensical\u201c packaging of the year by Nestl\u00e9<\/strong> elected.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eNestl\u00e9 has more than earned the \u201eGolden Vulture\u201c for the Vittel disposable plastic bottles. Little water in a lot of packaging, the 8-pack wrapped again in shrink film and long transport routes from France to Germany: that's ecological madness,\u201c says <strong>Barbara Metz<\/strong>, Deputy Federal Managing Director of DUH.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The DUH has offered Nestl\u00e9 the opportunity to present a \u201eGolden Vulture\u201c award on the occasion of the award ceremony.<strong> public dialogue<\/strong> with the Nestl\u00e9 management.
