{"id":27755,"date":"2019-10-23T16:00:42","date_gmt":"2019-10-23T14:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?p=27755"},"modified":"2019-10-23T14:12:49","modified_gmt":"2019-10-23T12:12:49","slug":"remondis-and-neste-for-chemical-recycling-of-plastic-waste","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/en\/remondis-und-neste-fuer-ein-chemisches-recycling-von-kunststoffabfaellen\/","title":{"rendered":"REMONDIS and Neste for the chemical recycling of plastic waste"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">Neste, the world's leading producer of renewable diesel and renewable aviation fuel and an expert in drop-in solutions for renewable chemicals, and REMONDIS, one of the world's largest private recycling, services and water companies, have agreed a development co-operation for the chemical recycling of plastic waste.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The two companies want to jointly develop and promote chemical recycling with the aim of creating capacities for processing more than 200 kilotonnes of plastic waste.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\">Working together for climate protection<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Mechanical plastics recycling has been making a positive contribution to the circular economy for decades, <strong>on the security of supply of raw materials<\/strong> and to protect the climate. The joint project now combines the expertise of Remondis in the <strong>Waste collection and separation<\/strong> with the experience and expertise of Neste in the <strong>Oil refining and the processing of low-quality waste<\/strong> and residual materials.
