Prof. Dr Andrea B\u00fcttner was appointed Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging IVV in Freising on 1 November 2019.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The internationally recognised scientist<\/strong> has already established the Product Effect business unit and the Analytical Sensor Technology department at the Fraunhofer IVV in recent years and has also taken on management responsibility as deputy institute director.<\/p>\n

The Fraunhofer IVV<\/strong> is a leader in applied research in the fields of Food, packaging, product impact, processing machines, recycling and the environment<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

From 1 November, the institute will now be managed by Prof. Dr B\u00fcttner together with the previous head of the institute, Prof. Dr Horst-Christian Langowski.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
