Kelkheim-based supplier Althen GmbH Mess- und Sensortechnik is bringing two new products to SPS 2019: the new LCB measuring amplifier increases the productivity and efficiency of weighing systems. The mobile digital display unit TD-01 Portable will also be on show.<\/p>\n

The productivity and efficiency of Weighing systems<\/strong> will be realised by the new LCB measuring amplifier<\/strong> increased. It converts the analogue measuring signal of a Strain gauge sensor<\/strong>s into a digital one. This makes the weighing system compatible with the \u201eInternet of things\u201c, emphasises Althen. If a measuring chain is subsequently digitised, the existing weighing cell can still be used. Such applications are particularly common in the food and packaging industry.<\/p>\n

The Measuring amplifier<\/strong> is organised via various Fieldbus<\/strong>-types with programmable logic controllers. It can be configured quickly and easily via the micro USB interface.<\/p>

Mobile digital display unit shows input signals<\/h2>\n

Another highlight announced by Althen is the mobile digital display device TD-01 Portable<\/strong> on. It can be used with Strain gauge-based sensors<\/strong> and display input signals from sensors as display values, graphics or functions. It also has a High-speed A\/D converter<\/strong>, indicator recording, interruption control and support of TEDS for automatic calibration.<\/p>\n

From the same series, the new TD-700T<\/strong> presented. This is a digital display device for measuring and displaying physical variables such as load, pressure and torque in conjunction with strain gauge transducers. The compact device also has a colour LCD display, high-speed sampling, TEDS and various hold functions.<\/p>\n

Four million measurements per channel<\/h2>\n

Proven products will also be on show at the Althen stand. These include the GL 2000\u201e four-channel data logger\u201c<\/strong>. It enables high-voltage and true RMS measurements in accordance with CAT III and simultaneous voltage and temperature measurements with a sampling rate of 1 megasample per second. With a runtime of four million measurements per channel in integrated RAM and flash memory, it is particularly suitable for applications such as troubleshooting and fault recording in control cabinets, voltage monitoring and machine diagnostics.<\/p>\n
