In 2012, he joined Domino Deutschland as Sales Manager and has been a member of the management team ever since. G\u00f6tz Kroeber was appointed as the new Managing Director of Domino Deutschland GmbH with effect from 1 June 2019.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>pj:<\/strong> Mr Kroeber, what are the current priorities? <\/em><em>in your company?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>G\u00f6tz Kroeber:<\/strong> On the one hand, there is the development of new products. Our flexible approach to products and services means that we are constantly developing our capabilities in both areas.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>pj:<\/strong> What particular challenges did you personally face last year?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>G\u00f6tz Kroeber:<\/strong> 2019 was and is a very special and exciting year for me. I have been Managing Director of Domino Deutschland GmbH since 1 June. I look back positively on the first few months in my new role and - together with my team - I am looking forward to the challenges ahead.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>pj:<\/strong> How do you assess the economic situation?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>G\u00f6tz Kroeber:<\/strong> Despite the difficult economic situation, we can look back on a positive company development, which is partly due to our broad market coverage across many sectors. It is noticeable that <strong>Investments currently hit more cautiously<\/strong> Nevertheless, I see good opportunities to further expand the positive development.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>pj:<\/strong> What effects do you expect for Domino Germany?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>G\u00f6tz Kroeber:<\/strong> We are using this time to develop new, innovative products and to penetrate new markets that were previously not or only partially served. Our customers' production challenges are our motivation, and we want to support them as sector experts in even more areas in the future.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>pj:<\/strong> What do you see as the most important tasks and trends in the industry?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>G\u00f6tz Kroeber:<\/strong> The forthcoming EU ban on single-use plastics and the associated environmental debate will also <strong>Effects on labelling technologies<\/strong> and sometimes further promote the use of environmentally friendly consumables.<\/p>\n<p>Domino's membership of EuPIA and other key associations means that we consider the risks and carry out exposure assessments in line with internationally recognised scientific principles.
