J. Schmalz GmbH has now been honoured in D\u00fcsseldorf with the prestigious German Sustainability Award in the \u201eMedium-sized companies\u201c category. This makes the vacuum specialist one of the three most sustainable companies in Germany.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For the twelfth time, the German Sustainability Award Foundation<\/strong> The award honours companies that are pioneering new paths with innovative products and services, high ecological standards in production or special social responsibility. Schmalz impressed the jury with its comprehensive sustainability approach<\/strong> by combining economic success with ecological responsibility and social commitment as a holistic system.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The vacuum specialist is endeavouring to reduce CO2<\/sub>-footprint of its products to a minimum: for example, through the use of renewable energy sources<\/strong>, if possible Short transport routes<\/strong> for the vendor parts, a design that dispenses with energy-intensive materials and uses lightweight construction - as in the Area gripper FXCB<\/strong>. Thanks to additive manufacturing<\/strong> it combines a lightweight, material-reduced design with a stable geometry. In combination with intelligent vacuum generators that enable condition monitoring and predictive maintenance, it also ensures efficient operation in later use.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
