Thimm invests in a machine for the digital laser die-cutting of corrugated cardboard, the only one of its kind in Europe to date.<\/b><\/p>\n

The new laser punching machine\u00a0Highcon Beam 2C<\/strong> should open up extraordinarily creative possibilities for packaging designers, as the laser can be used to produce precise Designs made from corrugated cardboard<\/strong> that were previously difficult or impossible to realise.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The new machine now supports the digital manufacturing process<\/strong> from design and data preparation to further processing of the corrugated board. The Laser cuts and engraves corrugated cardboard<\/strong> very precisely. Grooving is optimised by the patented DART technology<\/strong> (Digital Adhesive Rule Technology), which enables also on bent corrugated board<\/strong> engravings and cuts are possible.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
