The competition is organised by Mets\u00e4 Board, a European manufacturer of virgin fibre paperboard and a Mets\u00e4 Group company.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 146 participants from 28 countries took part in the competition. Ten finalists have now been selected to compete to win the competition and the main prizes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Elisabeth Wittauer, Austria - Onlineworld epack<\/li>\n<li>Jasper Chou, China - Preject FF<\/li>\n<li>Magdalena Schmitz, Germany - Disposable razor packaging<\/li>\n<li>Hamzeh Za'balawi, Germany - Reload<\/li>\n<li>Alessandro Grossi, Italy - Twist pop and host<\/li>\n<li>Pricila Rios Salas, Mexico - Cosmos<\/li>\n<li>Silvana Ruiz, Mexico - Crayon house<\/li>\n<li>Christine Gamboa, Philippines - Expandable eco street food package<\/li>\n<li>Anna Nowak, Poland - Cradle box<\/li>\n<li>Eric Smith, USA - Bruk.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This year played <strong>Sustainability<\/strong> and the <strong>Dual function<\/strong> packaging played a particularly important role in the designs submitted. It was easy to see that people in different corners of the world have the same environmental concerns - the need to find alternatives to plastic is a reality.\u201c<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The winners will be announced in the<strong> March 2020<\/strong> will be announced.
