The experts from Herford are responding to the ever-increasing volume of shipments with more efficient and sustainable packaging processes. The fully automatic X7 packaging line (see image above), for example, produces up to 1,200 parcels of different sizes ready for dispatch per hour. This reduces labour-intensive steps in the packaging process.<\/p>\n<p>By implementing on-demand packaging processes, e-commerce and fulfilment can also reduce their environmental footprint. The customised production of cardboard boxes reduces both the<strong> Parcel volume <\/strong>as well as the<strong> Material consumption<\/strong> significantly.
