The trade fair will now take place from 8 to 11 December 2020.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eUnder the current circumstances, it is not justifiable for our customers to hold automatica in mid-June - for health and economic reasons. We are now looking ahead with confidence so that we can organise a successful automatica 2020 in December together with the industry,\u201c says <strong>Falk Senger<\/strong>, Managing Director of Messe M\u00fcnchen and responsible for automatica.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The decision to postpone the event was taken by Messe M\u00fcnchen in close <strong>Coordination with the VDMA Robotics + Automation Association<\/strong> as the conceptual sponsor of automatica and taking into account numerous <strong>Feedback from exhibitors<\/strong> was held. The trade fair was originally scheduled to take place in Munich from 16 to 19 June.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Patrick Schwarzkopf<\/strong>, Managing Director of VDMA Robotics + Automation explains: \u201eAs the conceptual sponsor, VDMA Robotics + Automation supports the postponement of automatica 2020. Due to the current situation, we estimate that the participation of exhibitors and visitors will be increasingly limited. Currently <strong>travel options are severely restricted,<\/strong> Added to this is the unpredictability of further developments. This fundamentally jeopardises the feasibility of the trade fair in June.
