Prof. Dr Andrea B\u00fcttner took over as Managing Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging IVV in Freising on 1 April 2020.<\/p>\n

Prof B\u00fcttner has already been on 1 November 2019 as Head of the Institute<\/strong> appointed. Now she is also taking over the Managing Director<\/strong>, which were in the hands of the Board of Directors until 31 March 2020. former head of the institute Prof Dr Horst-Christian Langowski<\/strong> lay.<\/p>\n

On 31 March 2020<\/strong> the long-standing director of the institute<\/strong> Prof Langowski retires from the management of the Fraunhofer IVV and takes his well-deserved retirement. Prof Langowski has worked at the Fraunhofer IVV for almost 30 years, the last 16 of which as Institute Director. His successor<\/strong> joins the Institute as Managing Director in addition to as of 1 April 2020<\/strong> also the Succession in the scientific management of the competence centre<\/strong> for applied research in food and packaging technology (KLEVERTEC) in Kempten.<\/p>
