Engel, an Austrian manufacturer of injection moulding machines, has joined forces with toolmaker Haidlmair to improve the supply of face masks worldwide.<\/p>\n

In record time, Haidlmair had built a new Mould concept for the production of reusable masks<\/strong> which is now being used by plastics processing companies worldwide. Engel supplies injection moulding machines tailored to this<\/strong>, also in record time.<\/p>\n

With the two-piece reusable masks, which injection moulded from TPE<\/strong> are mouth and nose protectors (MNS) for use in everyday life and in certain work situations, for example in the construction industry. The masks can be cleaned and disinfected and different filter materials can be inserted.<\/p>

In countries that have exempted MNS from medical device legislation due to the Covid-19 pandemic, these masks can be produced and placed on the market by companies from a wide range of industries.<\/p>\n
