The \"Reusable Alliance\" is therefore making concrete demands to Federal Environment Minister Svenja Schulze and is relaunching a consumer campaign.<\/p>\n<p>The corona crisis in particular has made it clear how important<strong> Regional supply structures and short distribution channels<\/strong> are. Regional bottling, short transport distances and multiple reuse protect the climate, conserve resources and ensure a sustainable, decentralised supply for consumers. The reusable quota of at least 70 per cent should also be mandatory for every bottler and retailer. In reality, however, they undermine the goals of the German government's Climate Protection Act, <strong>by boycotting the implementation of the reusable quota<\/strong>. Lidl alone is responsible for the production of 3.2 billion single-use plastic bottles every year.
