After the official ground-breaking ceremony for the new building in the \"Am Krozinger Weg\" industrial estate, which took place at the end of March 2019, construction took just over a year to complete.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\"Considering that our electronics production had already gradually moved to our new plant at the end of 2019 and quickly started production, we can be very satisfied with the overall duration of the construction work, despite the construction boom in 2019 and the coronavirus crisis in 2020,\" says Managing Director <strong>Sven Wischnewski<\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>On 5000 m\u00b2 of floor space<\/strong> the new plant in Bad Krozingen are now<strong> Production of electronic devices as well as sales and marketing<\/strong> active. The building and workplace design promotes open communication and collaboration, but also allows for quiet and concentrated work. Ergonomically designed workstations have long been standard at SIKO.<\/p>\n<p>To take account of the environment and the climate, visitors and employees were given <strong>Several charging stations for e-cars or e-bikes<\/strong> on the company car park. These will be ecologically sustainable<strong> a large-scale photovoltaic system<\/strong>which is located on the roof of the building, is fed with self-generated electricity. Other elements that have been implemented include geothermal probes with heat pumps and a concrete core activation system that promotes air conditioning, <strong>to operate the new plant in an energy-efficient manner.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SIKO now manufactures at its three plants in Buchenbach, Bad Krozingen and Cham in Switzerland for global companies in the mechanical engineering and industrial sectors. <strong>The sensors, the drive technology and the well-known position indicators<\/strong> from SIKO have become indispensable for efficient position settings in production machines, for example. SIKO also provides <strong>special safety-certified sensors<\/strong>for safety-critical working conditions, for increased safety for man and machine.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\"The new and modern plant in Bad Krozingen was a necessary and correct step for the future of SIKO GmbH. Our latest products are not only innovative, but also important for the future.<strong> Realisation of Industry 4.0 manufacturing and automation processes<\/strong> the industry.
