Three anthropomorphic robots ensure safe processes under isolator protection.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The robotic <strong>Microdosing machine MicroRobot 50<\/strong> from Romaco Macofar was specially developed for the filling of highly potent and cytostatic drugs used, for example, in the treatment of cancer and autoimmune diseases.<\/p>\n<p>The technology is particularly suitable for <strong>Dosing of irregularly shaped, sticky and hygroscopic pharmaceutical powders<\/strong>. Filling of sterile liquids is also possible. The Macofar MicroRobot 50 is available with isolator technology for high-containment applications up to OEB level 5. The robots work format-free, which significantly reduces product changeover times.<\/p>\n<p>In total <strong>the robotic transfer system reduces the particle concentration<\/strong> in the critical areas and thus reduces the risk of contamination. In addition, the MicroRobot 50 microdispensing machine is easily accessible and easy to clean thanks to a tidy system concept. To validate the cleaning processes, the manufacturer equips the robotic grippers with optional cleaning guns.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, the Macofar MicroRobot 50 achieves a<strong> Maximum output of 50 vials per minute<\/strong> including one hundred per cent in-process weight control. This means that each vial is weighed individually before and after filling. If necessary, the filling volume is automatically adjusted.<\/p>\n<h2>Micro-dosing machine reduces product loss to a minimum<\/h2>\n<p>Numerous control systems ensure that <strong>reliable process and a very low reject rate<\/strong> of high-priced medicines. If a stopper is missing, for example, the filled vial is not rejected but returned to the relevant station, where the process is then repeated. The same measure is also taken if a crimp cap is missing. To prevent the<strong> product loss to a minimum overall,<\/strong> the dosing station of the microdosing machine is designed in such a way that the remaining quantity of the batch is always less than 100 grams.<\/p>\n<p>The very compact system with a length of less than four metres was designed with ergonomic aspects in mind. All parts that come into contact with the product are extremely small and light. Care was also taken to ensure that the<strong> Components easy to remove and install<\/strong> are. The machine is accessed via glove ports and RTP systems. The isolator is equipped with an integrated VHP generator for bio-decontamination.<\/p>\n<p>The MicroRobot 50 combines the expertise of Romaco Macofar in powder filling with the <strong>Insulator technology from Truking<\/strong>. The robotic microdosing machine is the <strong>first joint development project<\/strong> of the two pharmaceutical machinery specialists from Italy and China.
