The <strong>Hygiene and infection protection concept<\/strong> for the D\u00fcsseldorf exhibition centre makes it possible to <strong>relevant industry platforms with the greatest possible protection<\/strong> of exhibitors, visitors, partners and employees.<\/p>\n<h2>Hygiene and infection protection concept based on the current state ordinance<\/h2>\n<p>It ensures the necessary health precautions, hygiene measures and distancing rules and includes measures for managing the number of people and space as well as hygiene, technical and organisational measures that the state government has established for the operation of congresses and trade fairs. Following the initial opening of borders within Europe, the German government has been gradually lifting restrictions on entry from third countries since 1 July 2020. Such initiatives benefit D\u00fcsseldorf's leading international trade fairs in particular, which are characterised by a particularly high level of internationality. In 2019, this was 73.4 per cent for exhibitors and 37.1 per cent for visitors.<\/p>\n<h2>Important step for the economy<\/h2>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eWith its concept, the trade fair provides the basis for the new start that the economy urgently needs. Its world-leading trade fairs are indispensable for this. This applies not only to exhibitors and visitors from all over the world, but also to the numerous companies that benefit from the events.\u201c <strong>Thomas Geisel<\/strong>, Lord Mayor of the state capital and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of D\u00fcsseldorf Messegesellschaft<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>According to a study by the Munich-based ifo Institute, the D\u00fcsseldorf trade fair and congress sector alone induces <strong>annual sales of around 2.98 billion euros<\/strong> (in D\u00fcsseldorf: Euro 1.66 billion), <strong>Secures 27,692 jobs<\/strong> (in D\u00fcsseldorf: 16,664) and leads to additional tax revenues of 567 million euros (in D\u00fcsseldorf: 36.3 million euros). One third of all hotel overnight stays are attributable to the trade fairs.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eAll signs point to a new beginning. Companies now need platforms to present themselves and their innovations, to network and to set the course for the future together. Diener<\/strong>, Chairman of the Board of Management of Messe D\u00fcsseldorf since 1 July 2020<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>Detailed hygiene concept based on proven measures<\/h2>\n<p>All upcoming events of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.messe-duesseldorf.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">D\u00fcsseldorf Trade Fair Centre<\/a> become <strong>have a person limit<\/strong>, so that the minimum distance can be maintained. <strong>Tickets are therefore limited<\/strong> and in principle <strong>only available online<\/strong>, Visitors must register at the time of purchase. When entering the event areas, they are thus recorded numerically. At the same time, the provisions of the Corona Protection Ordinance of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia on the traceability of all persons present are observed and implemented. All payment transactions will be cashless where possible.
