A CCEP investment fund is investing in the Dutch recycling start-up CuRe Technology, which aims to give food-grade plastic polyester waste a new lease of life

The support enables the start-up to accelerate development from the pilot phase to market maturity. Once this has been achieved, CCEP will receive the largest share of the high-quality, food-grade recycled PET (rPET) and intends to use it for the production of its beverage packaging.

„Polyester is one of the most recyclable plastics in the world and should not be wasted. The support of CCEP Ventures will enable us to start recycling opaque and difficult-to-recycle food-grade PET. This brings us a big step closer to our vision of being able to recycle any type of polyester over and over again.“
Josse Kunst, Chief Commercial Officer at CuRe Technology

CuRe Technology is a consortium of the world's leading recycling innovators and experts. The group's goal is to be able to recycle any type of polyester waste and make this the new normal. CuRe is concerned with every form of used polyester. Roughly speaking, colour and other additives are removed and it is converted into high-quality, ready-to-use 100% rPET that can replace PET from fossil sources.

The world's largest Coca-Cola bottling company is investing in the Dutch recycling start-up CuRe Technology, which aims to give food-grade plastic polyester waste a new lease of life
[22
57589,48,54,31
0":"post-36291","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-packmittel-und-packstoffe","8":"tag-coca-cola","9":"tag-getraenke","10":"tag-kunststoff-und-verbunde","11":"tag-nachhaltigkeit-und-green-packaging","12":"cs-entry","13":"cs-video-wrap
["GET
